GP Position – full time or part time

Norwood Medical Centre is a long-established, fully accredited practice with deep roots in the local community. With a strong and loyal patient base and consistently high demand for appointments, you can be confident your appointment book will be full. Our patients are genuinely wonderful, and this is an ideal setting for a GP who values building long-term relationships and providing high-quality, personalised care. Conveniently located just minutes from Launceston’s CBD, our practice offers both professional opportunity and lifestyle appeal.
You will be supported by an experienced clinical team, including three dedicated nurses rostered daily from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Our modern facility includes six consulting rooms, a fully equipped treatment room for procedures, and a private chronic disease management room. TML Pathology services are available onsite each day, ensuring convenience for both you and your patients.
Our highly capable and supportive administration team is committed to assisting you in every aspect of your practice. You will also have the guidance and leadership of an experienced Practice Manager who will support you every step of the way.
We offer flexible, negotiable working hours, with sessions available Monday to Friday. The clinic is closed on weekends and public holidays, allowing you to enjoy a genuine work-life balance.
